If you’re looking for a vacation spot with plenty of old-fashioned fun, look no further than Branson, Missouri. This Midwestern tourist hotspot prides itself on its family values, patriotism, and good clean fun. Most of Branson’s shows are family-friendly, and the Branson community values its veterans and active duty military personnel like no place else in the nation. Many of Branson’s shows include a patriotic tribute to those who have served or are currently serving in our nation’s military, and several Branson businesses offer discounts to military families. You won’t find another town around that is more patriotic than Branson!

Fresh off a 3-year national tour, the All Hands on Deck show has made its way to Branson and is showing at the Dutton Family Theater. Broadway veteran Jody Madaras wrote All Hands on Deck to pay tribute to the Greatest Generation. The show is set in 1942 and is centered around the Hollywood Victory Caravan. This group of Hollywood film stars traveled America by rail selling war bonds in 1942. All Hands on Deck was written in the style of the old radio broadcast road show and features singing, dancing, and acting that will take you back to a bygone era.

The talented performers of All Hands on Deck deliver many of the all-American songs you know and love including “America the Beautiful,” “By the Light of the Silvery Moon,” “Deep in the Heart of Texas,” “Sentimental Journey,” “Don’t Sit Under the Apple Tree,” “Chattanooga Choo Choo,” “I’ve got a Girl in Kalamazoo,” “Hate to get up in the Morning,” “At Last,” and many more. This show features a total of 42 different patriotic and nostalgic songs!

This show’s tight musical harmonies, spirited dancing, hilarious skits, classic 1940’s commercials, and all-American music works together to make the audience feel like they’re viewing an authentic 1940’s-era radio broadcast show, but what really sets All Hands on Deck apart from the rest is the incredible Hollywood Victory Caravan Orchestra. This 9-piece ensemble is the only live big band in Branson, and their stellar musicianship is just one more thing that makes All Hands on Deck unlike anything else you’ll see in Branson.

If you’re looking for a patriotic show that the whole family can enjoy, be sure to reserve your tickets today for the All Hands on Deck show, now playing at the Andy Williams Performing Arts Center & Theatre.
